Your residence is available to the public for a conventional sale over a 2-day period, contingent upon the quality and quantity of items for sale.

21st Century Antiques manages all aspects of the sale comprehensively, including, but not restricted to, the following:

Onsite Consultation:

  • Private consultation to discuss all sale-related aspects.
  • Property evaluation to ensure a sufficient quantity of items for a sale. We request all items intended for sale to be present during the consultation.
  • We’ll openly communicate if there aren’t enough items for a successful sale and offer alternative solutions.


Staging and Display:

  • Professional organization and display using tables, showcases, and rolling racks as necessary.
  • Photography of each sale area for marketing purposes.


Research for Fair Market Value:

  • Our team, proficient in diverse valuation areas, can bring in experts at no additional cost if required.


Marketing and Advertising:

  • Broad digital and print advertising, inclusion in estate sale directories, online marketplace listings, social media marketing, email campaigns, and street signage.


Staffing and Sale Execution:

  • Sufficient staff on hand to safeguard the property during the sale.

Online Estate Auction

Items are photographed and then cataloged to an online auction platform like AuctionNinja, known for its specialization in estate sales.

Through this listing process, 21st Century Antiques can include multiple photos of each item, along with a detailed description. While some items may have a set starting price, many are listed without one. This approach effectively sparks bidding activity, creating early competition and ultimately driving up sale prices.

The online platform ensures that listings are accessible 24/7, catering to a wide range of shoppers. Any inquiries can be promptly addressed via email. From fine art, jewelry and furniture to couture clothing, collectible coins and kitchenware, a diverse array of items can be sold in these online estate auctions. Shipping options are available for some items, while others may be picked up locally.

Buyouts with Cleanouts

An estate buyout is a great option if you need quick payment for your belongings. We’ll evaluate your items, let you know what we’re interested in buying, and remove them promptly at your convenience.

Do you need your house broom swept to list on the real estate market? We also offer pairing estate buyouts with cleanout services. This means we’ll remove items from the estate, leaving it clean, organized and broom swept. The cost of cleaning is covered by the money made from selling the items elsewhere. This combo works well for estates with few valuable items for an onsite sale.

Estate buyouts are also suitable for estates with high-quality items but not a large quantity, or for those with collections that would be difficult to sell traditionally.

Consignments

We’re pleased to offer consignment services for single items or entire collections from your estate, integrating them into one of our multi-consignor auctions. Our schedule typically features 6-8 auctions annually, each specializing in specific categories such as “Antiques, Decorative Arts, and Paintings” or “20th Century Art and Design.”
